If you wish to inspect sale items prior auction closing, we request that you call the auction pick-up location contact to schedule an appointment. Inspection times are Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm unless other arrangements are made.
We do not inspect vehicles or equipment prior to offering items for sale to determine mechanical or operational condition. We will post any known problems or defects within this posting.
*Due to insurance carrier regulations, there are no test drives of vehicles during inspections*
*Maintenance Records will be available for inspection and provided to buyer if available.*
Radios and any other special equipment, and State markings previously added will be removed from vehicle prior to releasing item for pickup. Most equipment when removed may leave holes or marks in the interior or exterior locations.
1. Pick-up of items MUST be scheduled during the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday-Thursday.
2. State personnel are not available to assist in starting, troubleshooting, or loading of purchased item.
3. The State of Alaska will not assist or transport any purchased item to a shipping facility.
4. Buyer is responsible for arranging all transportation or shipping of purchased item.
5. Must tow non-running vehicles.
6. Must have proper vehicle equipment to remove as quickly as possible.
7. No maintenance will be allowed on State property.
8. We do not provide temporary registrations or tags.
9. Titles if applicable will be mailed ONLY to the WINNING BIDDER of the vehicle - NO EXCEPTIONS.
10. If someone other than the bidder is picking up an item, please send an authorization with a picture ID (Driver's License) and letter or email authorizing the third party to pick up your auction item.
**ALL SALES ARE FINAL. ITEMS SOLD 'AS IS WHERE IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES'**
All State logo markings and license plates will be removed from vehicle prior to release to the winning bidder. Buyers shall be held responsible to file all title transfers and registration documents with their local vehicle registration authority.
Payment must be received within 5 to 7 business days after close of auction. Pick-up of the vehicle must be completed within 15 business days of the auction's close, unless prior arrangements are made. Title will not be available at the time of delivery. It may take 2 weeks or more to receive title by mail.
Your bid is a contract to buy this item. All sales are final, no refunds will be allowed. Ample time is provided to view and inspect items before the auction ends.
The State of Alaska reserves the right to block/ban customers who abandon property or refuse to pay for an item.

The only acceptable forms of payment are: Credit Card and Wire Transfer. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.
A Buyers Premium of 7% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. All property is sold as is, where is. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Unless prior arrangements are made, buyer must remove auction item(s) from said State of Alaska's premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment.
A bid deposit may be required on higher value items to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
Pick-up hours are by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for arranging for removal of item and any cost associated with the removal..
