This is a Dutch Auction. There are approximately 145 screens available.

A Dutch Auction is an auction in which the seller lists multiple quantities of an identical item. With multiple items up for sale, multiple bidders can win, and one bidder can try to buy more than one quantity. If there are more bidders than items, the highest bidder will receive his or her full quantity. Bidders may receive partial quantities - i.e. only receive 2 out of the 3 items they bid for.

Bids on Dutch auctions are done per item. When you bid, you will enter the desired quantity and the per item price. As with all auctions, Proxy bidding is used during Dutch auctions. The system will work to make sure you get the maximum possible number of items - up to your maximum quantity - for the lowest possible price. Your total price will be the quantity won multiplied by the per item price.

All items are sold as is with no guarantee. Winner IS solely responsible for loading and hauling of items. CCPS does NOT provide materials, equipment or assistance with loading, hauling, shipping or packaging for shipping.

An appointment IS required for pickup of auction. Our business hours are 9 am to 230 pm.

Public Processing, LLC. a third-party payment processing company, handles all payments for Charlotte County Public Schools. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 3 business days of close of auction or buyer will be in default & item will be offered to next highest bidder.

Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from Charlotte County Public Schools premises within 3 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or Charlotte County Public Schools will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: County of Charlotte may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.

Winner is solely responsible for picking up, loading and hauling of items. CCPS does NOT provide materials, equipment or assistance with loading, hauling, shipping or packaging for shipping.

If there is any issue with the Public Surplus website that prohibits a buyer from bidding. The item will be relisted.
