DESCRIPTION: 50' AERIAL LADDER FIRE APPARATUS
CHASSIS: 1979 Ford 8000 single rear axle commercial chassis. This chassis is in poor mechanical condition and does not meet current NFPA safety standards. LADDER: 50' TeleSqurt Model B5042 hydraulic ladder in good condition. Ladder includes a 1000 gpm waterway and elevated master stream equipped with an Akron 1000 gpm combination nozzle. Ladder assembly includes rear A-frame hydraulic stabilizers. PUMP: Waterous 1000 gpm two stage pump, Model CMYB, in good condition. FIRE APPARATUS BODY: Crown/Pierce apparatus body, steel construction, in good condition. GENERAL INFORMATION: This apparatus represents an excellent opportunity to remount the pump, hydraulic ladder and body on a new commercial chassis. The original chassis and cab is in unreliable mechanical condition and no longer meets NFPA standards for safety, which was the primary reason for the retirement of this apparatus from active service.

Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyers Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid. Town of Red River may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding. Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item. Successful bidder will be responsible for cost of packing and/or shipping of any item(s) if necessary. |
