ONLY PREQUALIFIED VENDORS WILL BE ABLE TO BID ON THIS AUCTION. IN ORDER TO BID (I.E., PREQUALIFY) YOU MUST DOWNLOAD AND SUBMIT THE ATTACHED BIDDER'S AFFIDAVIT AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS FORM (INSTRUCTIONS BELOW)

You are bidding on (96) 55 Gallon Steel Drums containing brass shell casings.

In order to bid on this auction you must meet and agree to the terms/requirements listed below and in the attached affidavit.These include but are not limited to:
- You must be or represent a metals recycler.
- Shell casings may not be reused for reloading purposes under any circumstances.
- Shell casings shall be recycled in such a way that they shall be rendered useless for reloading purposes under any circumstances.
- You must review the attached affidavit for the full list of requirements.
- You must sign and notarize the affidavit and submit it before you will be allowed to bid on this auction.

* You will be notified via email when your affidavit is accepted and you have been authorized/prequalified to bid on the auction. *


The drums weigh approximately 67,200 lbs. (each drum weighs approximately 700 lbs.). The weight of each 55 gallon steel drum is not included in the total estimated weight. No allowance to be made for weight of drums or any other extraneous materials.

The buyer shall have the capability to remove all 96 drums within five (5) business days of notification of receipt of payment.

NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS: The bidder agrees to accept the shell casings offered in Auction #1050227 and to remove the same from the above location "AS IS" and in whatever condition such shell casings may exist. All drums may possibly contain unfired ammunition (RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS STATEMENT INCLUDED IN ATTACHED AFFIDAVIT).

Buyer is responsible for providing all labor and equipment necessary to remove the subject material. The City/Agency has no responsibility and is not required in any way to assist with removal.

Inspection is Strongly Suggested:
Inspection is available Monday - Friday 9AM to 12PM. Due to security restrictions, all appointments must be made 48 hours prior to inspection with Officer Crisci at (718) 885-0269. Name(s) of personnel and vehicle(s) information involved in inspection must be provided at that time.

Pickup Times:
Pickup is required within five (5) business days of payment confirmation and must occur on a Saturday (excluding the first Saturday of any month) or Sunday, between the hours of 6 AM and 3 PM. Pickup must be coordinated with and confirmed in advance by the Auction Contact.

Bid Deposits: City of New York may require bid deposits to ensure fairness to all buyers.

Public Processing, LLC handles all payments for City of New York.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of winning bid.

City of New York may charge a sales tax of 8.875%

Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 9.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Processing will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the City of New York will not release the item to you.

The Successful bidder will be responsible for the packing, loading and/or transporting of any item(s), if necessary.
