Unfinished house was built by construction technology students in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. The house is approximately 1200 square feet and was built to specs by Habitat for Humanity.
Sale of all TUSD surplus property is "AS IS" and "AS SHOWN" with NO expressed or implied WARRANTIES. BUYER is responsible for all requirements and costs associated with removal of building. NO ITEM WILL BE VIEWED OR PICKED UP WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Viewing of Auction items is by appointment only. Call Asset Management @ (520) 225-4899 to schedule an appointment. No maintenance or repair work of any type will be permitted on school property. Tire replacement will be allowed for transporting. The responsibility to determine the condition of the property rests with the bidder. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the item prior to bidding, and to place bids based solely on their personal inspection and evaluation. We should not be considered experts of the items listed for auction. Do not bid if you are unsure of the quality of the item being offered. Your bid is your contract to purchase. Payment is required within Three (3) working days from the "Notice of Award" on this Specialty Item. School starts August 2 and requires removal from property before school starts for student safety purposes. House can be moved in one piece or removed as material but will need to be removed quickly. Awarded winner must present a valid photo I.D. for payment and pickup. If an individual other than the awarded winner is to pay for and/or pick-up the item(s), they must provide the district with a written and signed letter of authorization to conduct business on the winner's behalf. This letter must include a copy of the awarded winner's photo identification, and must be provided to Asset Management prior to payment and pick-up. Loading and transportation of all purchased items is strictly the buyer's responsibility (PLEASE thoroughly read our terms and conditions). No assistance of removal of item(s) by the seller will be provided. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN THE DESIGNATED TIMEFRAME ANY ITEM LEFT WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED AND RELISTED ON PUBLIC SURPLUS.

Sale of all surplus property is, as is and where is, with all faults and without warranty. The description of surplus property offered for sale has been compiled from available data, but there is no guarantee or warranty on the part of TUSD as to condition or quality. TUSD reserves the right to withdraw any items being offered. TUSD will furnish no services of any kind to the bidder for any and all costs associated with shipping including but not limited to packaging, crating, loading, freight unless other wise indicated. No refunds or adjustments will be made on any award(s).

Accepted forms of payment are Cashiers Check or Money Order made payable to TUSD. There will be a 7.25% buyers premium and 9.1% tax added to all purchases made. Buyer must provide proof of tax exempt status prior to making payment. Pick up of items is required within five (5) working days from the date payment is made and by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for all cost of shipping item(s) if necessary. TUSD will not assist with any packaging, preparation for shipping or loading during pick up. |
