LCPS requires bid deposits to ensure equity to buyers to discourage default bidding. Default will result in blocking the bidder from future LCPS auctions. The deposit will be applied if the winning bidder defaults. LCPS reserves the right to reject bids. A 7% surcharge will be added to all purchases. A 5% Virginia sales tax will be added to the sale of non licensed equipment. Buyer is responsible for all removal arrangements, including labor to lift & load. Buyers are responsible for pick-up or shipping & all associated costs, including weighing & packaging. No such services will be provided by LCPS. No property may be removed prior to making full payment. No items will be held.
