County of Sacramento Standard Disclaimers for Online Sales
We encourage all bidders to view and inspect auction items before placing a bid. All items are sold "as is". No refunds, no guarantees on any item. Viewing of Auction items by appointment only. Public Processing, LLC handles all payments for County of Sacramento. Payment for an awarded item must be received by Public Surplus within 5 business days of close of auction. County of Sacramento sales tax of 8% shall be added to all purchases made, except for the purchase of on-road vehicles that will be registered and operated by the Buyer within the State of California. Buyers Premium: A 11% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment. All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from the County of Sacramento, Surplus Property premises within 9 business days of notification of award by Public Surplus. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the County of Sacramento will not release the item to you. Bid Deposits: County of Sacramento may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding. Pick-up hours by appointment only. Buyer will be responsible for removal of item. Buyer will be responsible for cost of packing and/or shipping of any item(s) if necessary |
