Public Processing, LLC Surplus handles all payments for Fairfax County Public Schools. Payment must be received within 5 business days of close of auction. Buyers Premium: A 7% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment. VA Sales Tax (6%) collected on all auctions except vehicles (DMV collects tax on titled items). Public Processing will notify buyer of payment receipt via email.
Any item over $500 will have a $50 bid deposit required.
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award. Payment receipt email must be presented at the time of pick up or item will not be released. Pickup hours are Monday through Thursday from 07:30 to 11:30 am and from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Friday hours for pickup is from 07:30 am to 11:30 am. If terms are violated there will be no refund. Fairfax County Public Schools WILL NOT SHIP. Winner is responsible for loading and hauling.
