All METRO logo markings, lightbars,passenger barriers, police equipment and license plates will be removed from transit vehicle prior to release to the winning bidder. Buyers shall be held responsible to file all title transfers and registration documents with their local vehicle registration authority.

Surplus items will be sold as is, where is with no expressed or implied warranties. It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect auction items before placing bids or prior to removal from METRO premises.
Public Processing LLC, handles all payments for METRO. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction by Public Surplus. Bids over $4,000 must be paid by wire transfer.
METRO sales tax of 8.25% shall be added to all purchases made. The buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
Buyers Premium: A 3% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment.
All sales are final. METRO reserves the right to cancel or retract auctions.
Inspections/ pick-ups are by scheduled appointment only. All
Appointments/ Pick-ups are Mon-Thur. 8:00am. to 3:00pm.
Winning bidders will be notified by email and/or phone. WINNING BIDDERS MUST PAY AND REMOVE ALL AWARDED SURPLUS ITEMS FROM METRO PROPERTY NO LATER THAN FIVE (5) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE CLOSE OF AUCTION. BIDDERS THAT FAIL TO PAY OR PICK UP AWARDED ITEMS WITHIN FIVE (5) BUSINESS DAYS FORFEIT THEIR RIGHTS TO AWARDED ITEMS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Unclaimed awarded items may be offered to the next highest bidders or re-posted for auction.
