CURRENT AND PENDING AUCTION UPDATES:
***Mohave County will hold the next surplus office equiptment auction commencing on April 12, 2010 and closing on April 26, 2010. Available surplus items will be general office items and cabinets. Please note that items will be at various locations and not at a central location, so plan on this when you bid on an item.
***Mohave County will hold the next surplus vehicle and equipment auction in the Fall of 2010.
AUCTION PAYMENT METHODS:
The payment terms and conditions on Mohave County's surplus auctions have changed effective July 21, 2009, to reflect revised payment procedures and bid deposits.
As of July 21, 2009, Public Surplus will be collecting all payments for Mohave County on all successful surplus auctions. ***PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENTS DIRECTLY TO THE COUNTY***
Successful Bidders will need to make payment to Public Surplus prior to picking up their items. Public Surplus offers multiple payment methods including: PaypalŪ, debit card, credit card, e-check, money order, cashiers check, and wire transfer. Should you have further questions regarding payment procedures, please contact Jill Zimmerman at (928) 753-0752 ext 5. If you have problems with the online payments please contact Public Surplus at 801-932-7000 ext 0 and ask for buyer contact support person.
As of July 21, 2009, all potential bidders will be required to post a bid deposit. The amount of the deposit will be one dollar, ($1.00), for small items and fifty dollars, ($50.00), for larger items, for each auction of interest, this is in order to curtail a recent increase of non-serious and default bidders.
