You are bidding on the door for a NYC Fire Alarm box that would have been located on the streets of NYC during 1925 - 1927. The door was attached to a box located on the corner of 121 ave and 197th Street in Queens, NY.

The alarm box was used by residents to alert the FDNY of a fire. Similar fire boxes are still used today around NYC.

This is what the box would have looked like on the street, you are bidding on DOOR only

The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the City of New York will not release the item to you.
