While it is recognized that the surplus equipment is being offered for sale because of age and condition, it is understood that the said equipment will be purchased in "as is condition" and "where is" location. Utah Transit Authority makes no warranty, guarantee expressed or implied on the property offered for sale. Utah Transit Authority is not responsible for any omission or errors in the description and condition of the property. All sales are final and no refunds will be made. Personal inspection is strongly advised. Failure to inspect property shall not be grounds for a refund, claim or property abandonment.
Payment in full will be made by certified check, money order or cash for the equipment awarded within five (5) days from the time of award and/or notice of availability to the equipment. While the award will be made to the highest bidder, the Utah Transit Authority reserves the right to make the award as it may deem would be in its best interest. Utah Transit Authority reserves the right to reject any bid. If bidder is the successful buyer, buyer shall remove the awarded equipment from the present location and will bear all of the risk and cost of moving the equipment from the UTA premises. All equipment must be removed within ten (10) days after buyer receives Notice of Sale Awarded from PublicSurplus.com |
