Removal & Equipment Requirements

  • Buyers must supply all personnel needed to remove purchased items.
  • County of Kauaʻi will NOT have any loading capabilities.
  • There are NO forklifts or loading equipment available.
  • Some equipment is extremely heavy and may require special trailers provided by the buyer.
  • All items must be removed from the property and/or loaded onto the buyer’s vehicle.
  • County of Kauaʻi will NOT supply tools or assistance in the removal of items.
  • Proper equipment must be used for removal, such as trucks, trailers, and tow trucks.

  • The County of Kauai will not be responsible for any preparation, cleaning, or arrangements required for off-island shipping.

Pick-Up Procedures: Pick-up arrangements are available strictly by appointment. Buyers will be contacted via telephone or email to schedule a designated date and time.

The successful bidder is obligated to retrieve the item(s) from the agency's premises on the specified date and time. At the time of pick-up, the bidder must present the notice of award, proof of payment, and valid government-issued identification. Failure to provide these documents will result in the item(s) not being released.
