Transportation and Removal Requirements
*ALL VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT MUST BE TRANSPORTED OR HAULED FROM THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT VIA TOW TRUCK OR TRANSPORT TRACTOR TRAILER! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Condition of Vehicles and Equipment
Parts, batteries, and other components may be missing. Vehicles and equipment have been stored for extended periods, and batteries are presumed to be non-functional.
Known mechanical issues have been disclosed to the best of the City’s knowledge. However, all vehicles and equipment are used and may exhibit wear and tear consistent with their age and mileage.
Maintenance and servicing have been performed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and operational experience for routine preventative and corrective maintenance.
Inspection and Sale Terms
All items are sold strictly “as is, where is,” with no warranties or guarantees, express or implied. No additional repairs, servicing, or preparation will be performed by the City of Albuquerque.
Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect vehicles and equipment prior to bidding. Inspections are available by appointment only on Monday, November 24, 2025 between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Please contact the Solid Waste Department to schedule an inspection.
Pick-Up Scheduling and Requirements
All pick-ups must be scheduled in advance by calling (505) 761-8146.
Pick-up appointments are available Monday through Thursday, between 7:00 AM and 1:30 PM.
All vehicles and equipment must be removed within ten (10) business days following the close of auction.
Loading and Transportation Responsibility
The City of Albuquerque will not provide any assistance with loading, packaging, crating, or transporting items. Buyers are solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including bringing sufficient personnel and equipment to safely load and transport their purchases.
If you are unable to lift or move your item(s) independently, you must bring additional help and/or necessary equipment.
Additional Terms
The City of Albuquerque reserves the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time.
All costs associated with weighing, packaging, crating, loading, or hauling are the sole responsibility of the successful bidder, unless otherwise specified.
By participating in this auction, bidders acknowledge and accept all terms and conditions stated above.
PayMac handles all payments for City of Albuquerque. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.
Bid Deposits: City of Albuquerque may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
Sale of all surplus property is, "as is" and "where is", without warranty.
The City of Albuquerque reserves the right to withdraw any items being offered.
A buyer's premium of 10% shall be added to all auctions.
No service of any kind will be furnished by the City of Albuquerque, and the successful bidder shall assume any cost of weighing, packaging, crating, loading or hauling, unless otherwise indicated.
No refunds or adjustments will be made on any award(s).
