THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS**...read the following:
** Be advised that these items have been previously used and may contain defects. Also, be advised that the buyer is solely responsible for ALL loading, shipping, transporting, coordinating payments & pick- ups with our school district within the proper timeframe, no exceptions, terms and conditions are strictly enforced. Please bring sufficient equipment, tools and man power to assist with your removal of your asset. Our school district does not assist with any loading of any form. In the event of a third party (non-buyer listed) picking up your items on your behalf, please send an email giving your consent and authorization to allow the third party to remove your items from the premises on your behalf. For questions concerning the above item, to schedule an appointment to view the item, or to pick up purchased item, please call John Hazelton @ (518)439-3830, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. EST. Monday through Friday. ALL PICKUPS WILL BE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Buyer must supply all personnel for removing said items. The Bethlehem CSD will NOT have ANY loading capabilities. All items must be removed from the item location, and loaded on the truck by the buyer. There are NO forklifts or loading docks at this location. Some equipment is extremely heavy, and will require special equipment, which will be supplied by the buyer. We are not responsible for packaging, shipping, or otherwise of any items sold. The Bethlehem CSD supplies no tools, or assistance in removal of items. Proper equipment must be used for removal of all items, i.e. trucks, trailers, vans. An appointment must be made to pick up or view all items. This surplus asset is being sold "as is", with no warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Local pick up ONLY. No shipping. Works but sold AS IS.
Please bring the "Paid Receipt" and identification when picking up items. If someone other than the winning bidder is picking up the auction item, you must provide authorization via email or in writing, along with proof of your identification.
NOTE the following:
- Item may be removed by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
- No assistance will be provided to determine if the vehicle will start.
- Must have proper equipment to remove vehicle as quickly as possible.
- No maintenance or repair work of any type will be permitted on property.
- Tire replacement will be allowed for transporting.
- Non-Running vehicles must be towed.
- Vehicle maintenance records will NOT be provided.
- License plates have been removed and temporary tags will NOT be provided.
- No Guarantee All Parts Are Present
- No inspection time available.
Removal. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from the agency premises within 14 business days after payment has been received. If the Buyer, after making payment for an item, fails to remove the item within the specified time, the agency reserves the right (1) to retain all payments; and (2) to dispose of the item through another auction or otherwise. Successful bidders are responsible for packing, loading, removing and transporting all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Notice of Award. The Buyer must make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will the district assume responsibility for packing, loading or transporting auction item(s). Buyer shall be liable to and reimburse the district for any damage to district's property caused by Buyer or Buyer Agent's removal of auction item(s) from the premises. The reserve is set, the district may consider bids that are lower than this amount but may also refuse bids not meeting the reserve. Winning bidder is responsible for all costs associated with title transfer and plates. Current title is in the districts
name so it will be an easy transfer.
Attention:
1- Do NOT bid if our Terms and Conditions cannot be met (Payment/Pickup dates within auction).
2- Shortly after an auction ends, the winner of the auction will receive an email from Public Surplus telling them they have won. This email will be titled “Winning Notice on Auction…” and will include five detailed steps that will help guide you through successful completion of your auction. Remember, Payment is made to Public Surplus. If you receive an email informing you that you have won an auction, it is your responsibility to contact us by email (follow the “send email” link under the Auction contact field of the auction you won).
3- Emails sent to John Hazelton are responded to Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 1:30pm, Eastern Standard Time (except during district holidays). Should you not receive an email response, please check your SPAM folder.
Bid Deposits: BCSD may require bid deposits to ensure fairness to all buyers.
PayMac, handles all payments for BCSD.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.
BCSD will charge sales tax of 8% (EXCEPT FOR vehicle sales). The tax rate is calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall include the sales tax amount when making payment.
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for removal/pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or BCSD will not release the item to you.

The successful bidder will be responsible for the packing, loading and/or transporting of any item(s), if necessary.
