Pursuant to Chapter 30B, Section 15 of the Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L. c. 30B, §15), the Town of Natick, Natick Town Hall, 13 East Central Street, Natick, MA 01760 ("the Town"), acting through the Natick Board of Selectmen, invites the submission of bids in an online auction to dispose of the following surplus equipment:

Condition- Forklift runs and operates
Said vehicle will be listed on the online auction site "publicsurplus.com". The full website may be found at the following web address: http://www.publicsurplus.com. Photographs of said loader will be available for viewing on the website.
The online auction shall open on November 29, 2017, and shall close 21 days later. No late or conditional bids will be accepted. Bids may NOT be placed directly with the Town, but must be processed through the auction website.
Inspection of said vehicle may be performed either (1) at the above website or (2) in person by visiting the Natick Public Works Department, 75 West Street, Natick, MA 01760, during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. EDST, and Friday, between 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. (noon) EDST.
The vehicle will be sold, if at all, to the responsive bidder offering the highest price for the vehicle described in this notice and on the auction site listing. The Town of Natick reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to dispose of the vehicle through a negotiated sale, provided that the negotiated sale price is higher than the highest bid received from a responsive bidder.
Upon willing the auction, the winning bidder shall be required to submit a signed non-collusion form to the Town of Natick prior receipt of the truck. Said non-collusion form shall state as follows:
"The undersigned certifies, under penalties of perjury, that its Bid has been made and submitted in good faith and without collusion or fraud with any other person. As used in this certification, the word "person" shall mean any natural person, business, partnership, corporation, union, committee, club or other organization, entity, or group of individuals."
The winning bidder shall also certify that, pursuant to M.G.L. c. 62C, §49A, that it is in compliance with all laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts pertaining to taxes, to the reporting of employees and contractors, and to the withholding and remittance of child support.
Payment in full, in the form of electronic payment to publicsurplus.com is required prior to pickup. It shall be the seller's responsibility to pick up all goods in person, within ten (10) days, from Natick DPW, after payment is made in full. Delivery of goods is buyer's responsibility. Goods shall be sold as is, where is. Seller disclaims any and all warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose.
Buyer to pay sales tax upon registration.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.
Will charge a sales tax of 6.25%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Processing will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the Town of Natick will not release the item to you.
