Online auctions are open to the general public. However, Chicago Transit Authority employees and their relatives will not be permitted to bid on any auctions.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There are no refunds or exchanges.
The Chicago Transit Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids received. The Chicago Transit Authority also reserves the right to withdraw any auction, at any time, without notification obligation whatsoever.
ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
Bid Deposits: CTA may require bid deposits to ensure fairness to all buyers.
Public Processing, LLC handles all payments for CTA.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 7% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
Note: Winning Bidders Must Print a Copy of the Ownership Form and send it to Salvage Control.
