1973 International 1310 4X4 Dually in pristine condition. 3,349 original miles. This vehicle was purchased new by Shaw Island Fire Department in 1973 and has been used as a wildland fire response truck. The vehicle has been well maintained and stored in a heated garage. No rust, good paint, like new.
The engine is in like new condition and runs excellent. Transfer case, 4X4, clutch, and transmission are good. Tires and spare are in good condition. Modifications made to the original factory model include the addition of power steering in 2010, beefed up rear suspension to handle the weight of the 600 gallon water tank, a battery charge system, and a second battery with cut off switch. Everything works. The water tank is solid with no leaks or weak spots. Waterous pump runs. Lights, radio, siren, and insignias will be left on the vehicle. Original title is clean - WA title # 7411605103487. An International 1310 in this condition is rare.

Inspection of Auction items by appointment only. San Juan County Fire Protection District 5 may require a bid deposit. Public Processing, LLC handles all payments for San Juan County Fire Protection District 5. Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card. NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award. San Juan County Fire Protection District 5 will charge a sales tax of 8.1%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment. A Buyers Premium of 10.5% may be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. All sales are final. Public Processing will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released. Pick-up hours by appointment only. The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary. |
