Removal time: the winning bidder must have the structures removed within 90 days of the bid closing date unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Department of Natural Resources. Failure to remove the structure within 90 days results in forfeiture of the performance bond.
The structure(s), including all contents, must be removed down to bare ground including the rock foundation. All debris resulting from the removal actions shall also be removed from the site. Debris cannot be relocated anywhere on said property boundary. Failure to remove debris within 90 days results in forfeiture of the performance bond.
The successful bidder will take immediate possession of the structures. Upon possession, the successful bidder will take over the responsibility for the structure(s) and must have the proper insurance coverage.
Prior to starting removal operations, all existing utilities shall be terminated. The successful bidder will make all arrangements with the utility companies. Removal of building(s) must be coordinated with the DNR site representative.
Winning bidder must submit a separate payment for 100% of the winning bid and separate payment for the performance bond. Winning bidder must submit cashier’s check(s), certified check(s) or money order(s) made payable to the State of Indiana for bid amount and performance bond.
The State of Indiana, by this invitation, does not hold itself out as a merchant in the ordinary course of selling such property, and expressly disclaims any warranties, expressed or implied, as to its merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all such property shall be sold on an "as is" basis, with award to the best and highest bidder.
The State of Indiana reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Payment must be made payable to the State of Indiana and in the form of CASH (U. S. currency only), CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIER'S CHECK or MONEY ORDER in the exact amount due (ADD 4% FOR THE BUYERS PREMIUM). ALL OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Awarded bidder is required to submit a copy of their I.D. at the time of payment. If mailing in payment, enclose a copy of their award letter. If shipping, awarded bidder must make shipping arrangements and pre-pay for all cost of shipping. WE DO NOT SHIP.
FULL PAYMENT & REMOVAL OF ALL ITEMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN SEVEN (7) WORK DAYS FROM THE AUCTION END DATE UNLESS A CLAUSE IS INDICATED IN SALE NOTICE. FAILURE TO PAY & REMOVE ON TIME WILL RESULT IN BEING BLOCKED FROM FUTURE BIDDING.
All payment must be made at Indiana State Surplus, 601 W. McCarty St, Indianapolis, IN 46225 regardless of where property is.
When sending a designated representative in your place, you may email authorization to us or the representative must present a dated letter of authorization signed by you, a copy of your picture I.D. & a copy of your award letter. They will also be required to show their I.D.
