The Lincoln Electric VRTEX 360 is a premier, single-user virtual reality welding training system designed to revolutionize welding education. This simulator allows students and professionals to practice and perfect critical welding skills in a safe, repeatable, and extremely cost-effective environment, making it an essential tool for schools, vocational training centers, corporate training programs, or keeping professional skills sharp.
Key Benefits for Education & Training:
Massive Cost Savings: Eliminates the need for expensive consumables, including welding rods, metal coupons, shielding gas, and electricity. The built-in Weldometer tracks virtual savings.
Ultimate Safety: Provides a completely risk-free training environment—no sparks, no fumes, no heat, and no risk of injury. Perfect for beginners and safe use in any classroom setting.
Accelerated Learning & Immediate Feedback: The system tracks and scores key welding parameters in real-time, including:
Work Angle
Travel Angle
Travel Speed
Distance/Contact Tip to Work Distance (CTWD)
Weld Position (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead)
Realistic Immersion: Features a highly realistic weld puddle and actual welding sounds that respond to the user's technique, helping build crucial muscle memory that translates directly to real-world welding.
Multi-Process Training: Simulates several popular welding processes using realistic physical tools (torch, stinger, etc.):
SMAW (Stick/Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
GMAW (MIG/Gas Metal Arc Welding)
GTAW (TIG/Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
