1200 HOURS BEFORE ENGINE MAINTENANCE IS NECESSARY; COMES WITH CAMERA AND GROUND HANDLING DOLLIES; HELICOPTER HAS NOT BEEN STARTED OR OPERATED IN APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR; NO KNOWN ISSUES PRESENT. OWNED BY THE CITY OF CHICAGO SINCE NEW; CONTINUOUSLY HANGARED; MAINTAINED UNDER CONTRACT; BASIC VFR CONFIGURATION; EXPOSED WIRING PRESENT; SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS; NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED; NOT WARRANTED FOR ANY SPECIFIC USE.

Aircraft may not be in compliance with applicable FAA requirements. Buyer is responsible for bringing the aircraft into compliance with 14 CFR or other applicable standards, including obtaining all necessary FAA inspections or modifications.

This aircraft is currently in preserved mode. The buyer will be responsible for towing the aircraft from the City of Chicago facility and relocating it to a suitable location for de-preservation and any work required to make it flyable. Please plan accordingly. 

Winning Bidder Removal Instructions (including 2FM assistance):
• Buyer is responsible for removing the helicopter.
• 2FM can assist with loading the helicopter onto the transport vehicle supplied by the buyer.

 IMPORTANT PAYMENT CHANGES - PLEASE READ!  Payments made by Cashier's Check, Money Orders or Money grams will no longer be accepted at the Salvage Yard or by mail in 2019. All Auctions with end dates of January 15, 2019 (or later) will be subject to this change. Payments must be made either by credit card through this website or by cash, Cashier's Check, Money Order, Money gram or credit card at one of the following four Revenue Payment Center locations:

IMPORTANT:  Third (3rd) party payments are not accepted on any auctions. The winning bidder MUST make payment (please read the linked Terms and Conditions). Third party payment may result in default of the bidder/auction. 

Bidder must furnish the labor and equipment to remove all auction items (see Terms and Conditions).Winning bidders must possess a valid Driver's License to remove any vehicle from the Salvage Yard or provide written authorization for a third party with a valid Driver's License to remove the vehicle.
