2016 Ford E450/Horton Type III ambulance.  Ambulance does not run well and has coolant getting into one of the cylinders, causing a misfire.  It has not been diagnosed further than that.  It has been maintained but has a lot of miles. Service records available upon request. If you would like to see the unit prior to bidding, we can show it by appointment only. Sold as is and will need to be towed out of here.  We cannot ship.

Please note that Novato Fire District does NOT provide loading assistance for items won through Public Surplus auctions. This policy applies without exception. Bidders are solely responsible for arranging their own loading and transportation of purchased items. We appreciate you’re understanding and cooperation.

Required Documentation & Pick-Up Location:

All required documentation to release an item to a buyer (Bill of Sale, Title, DMV forms, etc.) is completed and available at:

Items are available for pick-up only after the required documentation is in the possession of the buyer or the buyer’s authorized representative.

The Notice of Award, payment receipt, and valid personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up.

Payment Confirmation Required:

Do not make arrangements to pick up the unit until you receive confirmation of payment from Public Surplus. The unit will not be released until payment confirmation has been received.

Scheduling Appointments:

Please contact us by email or phone to schedule your appointment. Appointments will be confirmed with auction winners and are scheduled in 30-minute increments.

If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Your appointment may need to be rescheduled depending on existing bookings.

Novato Fire Protection District may require a bid deposit.

Pay Mac, Inc. handles all payments for Novato Fire Protection District.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

Novato Fire Protection District may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
