As listed in the terms and conditions of sale, buyer must remove auction item(s) from the agency premises within ten (10) business days after the closing of the auction. For sailing vessels, buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect the boat in person or with a qualified marine surveyor prior to bidding. The vessel may have latent defects or operational issues not visible through photographs or described in the listing. No assurance is made regarding the seaworthiness, engine function (if applicable), hull integrity, or compliance with Coast Guard regulations. By placing a bid, buyer acknowledges full responsibility for understanding the condition and required certifications of the boat for legal or safe use. The successful bidder will be responsible for the labor, tools, and knowledge associated with the pickup of the items. Loading bays and forklifts are not available. The vessel is currently located in a wet berth in Santa Barbara Harbor. No trailer is available; the buyer will be responsible for all aspects of moving the item from the dock, including but not limited to scheduling marine transport, securing temporary mooring permits, and ensuring compliance with harbor regulations. UCSB does not provide logistical support, personnel, or maritime assistance for the removal or relocation of vessels. To reiterate: trailers are not included in the purchase. The successful bidder must be able to pick up with their own trailer (towed) or other suitable truck for transport.
