Vehicle inspections will be held at 1080 Coverstone Drive, Winchester, VA 22602 on:
- July 29 2026 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM
This is the only scheduled viewing time. Inspections will take place rain or shine. The gate will close promptly at 12:00 p.m.
No special appointments will be made for anyone unable to attend during the listed times.
Equipment Pickup: Pickup, including by contracted transport companies, carriers, couriers, is by prior appointment only, walk-ins, unscheduled pick up attempts, and all others without an appointment will be turned away. This means you must speak to the contact person and arrange a specific date and time for pickup, failing to do so will result in being turned away and told to schedule a pickup. Pickups will not be scheduled before payment is received, cleared, and a bill of sale is provided by County Administration.
This item is eligible for shipping, seller will consolidate into the smallest number of boxes and relay weight and dimensions to buyer. Buyer is responsible for providing a prepaid shipping label. FedEx, UPS or USPS only, seller will handle turning package over to shipper, buyer will not need to schedule a pickup. Item will not be shipped until payment clears. Seller is not liable for packaging, padding, damage in transit, by asking for the item to be prepared for shipping by seller, buyer or their agent releases Frederick County from any liability, injury or action arising from providing assistance.

The successful bidder is solely responsible for removing the equipment and must provide any personnel, drivers, labor, equipment, or towing needed for pickup. A forklift is available on site, the only assistance that will be provided is driving the fork lift to place pallets onto a truck, Frederick County Personnel will not lift, load, secure, tie down etc. equipment to pallets, or pallets to vehicles and are not responsible for any damage incurred as a result of assisting. By requesting assistance, the buyer or their agent releases Frederick County from any liability, injury or action arising from providing assistance.
Frederick County may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for Frederick County.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.
All sales are final. PayMac will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for picking up items within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the Notice of Award. Upon receipt of payment, you will be notified by email sent to the address provided at registration with PublicSurplus.com. You may then contact Frederick County and arrange for a mutually convenient pick-up time. You must bring to the pick-up location (1) the Notice of Award, (2) the Paid Receipt and (3) personal picture identification (such as a Driver License). You must present all three identification items at the scheduled pick-up, or the auction item(s) will not be released to you.
The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
