Up for auction is a 2013 Baileigh Industrial DP-1500G geared head drill press.
The drill press is not fully operational due to an issue within the geared head speed-changing mechanism. The machine will require repair before being placed back into regular service.
Included with the drill press are various spare replacement parts that were purchased for repair and maintenance. These parts are included with the sale but have not been inventoried or verified for completeness.
This machine is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect the equipment prior to bidding. The buyer is responsible for loading and transportation. Viewing of items for sale must be arranged in advance.
Known Condition:
- Issue with the geared head speed-change mechanism.
- Repair is required before normal operation.
- Cosmetic wear consistent with age and institutional use.

Pickup & Loading Information
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm (excluding holidays)
Removal Deadline: All components must be removed by winning bidder within 10 days of the end of the auction
Loading: Fork lift loading available on site
Loading Arrangement: Must prearrange loading

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for Eastern Iowa Community Colleges.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Eastern Iowa Community Colleges will charge a sales tax of7%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
