ALL PICK UPS MUST BE SCHEDULED IN ADVANCE by calling 903-218-6435 or christy.fowler@etcog.org. Leave a message and someone will return your call and arrange a pickup time. If you come without an appointment, you will not be able to get the items that day.
If someone other than the bidder is picking up your item, please email a letter of authorization with the following:
1. Third party name and company name (if applicable)
2. Bill of Lading (if applicable)
3. Auction number, lot number, and item description
4. Your name or company name, complete address and phone number as well as a copy of your (Bidder’s) Driver License or legal photo ID.
NOTE: Third party will be required to sign a receipt for the property and provide proof of identity. This must match what is given on the email.
Inspection of Auction items by appointment only.
East Texas Council of Governments may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for East Texas Council of Governments.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% may be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
Pick-up hours by appointment only.
The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
