The City of Cuyahoga Falls, OH Utility Billing Dept. offers this 2010 Ford Escape SUV for sale via online auction. As with all sales this is offered AS IS - AS SEEN. In person inspection is encouraged M-F 9:00am - 3:00pm by appointment.
This is a front wheel drive SUV, tires less than a year in service, battery recent and a dirty interior. This has been used year round on road ways treated at certain times of the year with snow and ice control compounds. Some corrosion is seen and is consistent with such use.
There are some amber warning strobes that are still connected, a rear compartment cover and floor mat for cargo area , jack and tools and spare tire are present. Trim is XLS. A tire pressure sensor light is on as well as a fuel tank inlet light and that usually means a new filler opening that is the cap-less type is needed.
No other diagnostic will be afforded to this out-of-service SUV and sells as is.
Buyer agrees to remove asset 7 business days after the mayor signs and the title is Notary stamped. Method of removal entirely the buyers choice. No vehicles will be released until the title process is complete, no exceptions.
The City makes no statement as to ANY further drive-ability other than it starts, moves ahead, reverses, stops and turns off.
If a transport is hired to move this vehicle the Garage must be notified 24 hours in advance with company and driver name. Person picking this up must a copy of the auction paid receipt and a phone image is OK. Buyer pays all costs to ship, City staff will not assist. Sale is tax exempt until you transfer the title.
