Items are sold “AS IS” and may have scratches/dents or other daily use damage. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
The City of Mentor, its officers, employees, and agents offer these items for sale “AS IS” without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory. The City of Mentor, its officers, employees and agents, specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. WE DO NOT PREPARE, PACKAGE OR SHIP ITEMS. BIDDER IS SOLEY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PROCESS. Bidder is responsible for all pick up and or shipping arrangements, with other shipping parties. Any damages to items due to other shipping parties is not the seller's responsibility. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
We strongly encourage bidders to make an appointment (216-406-3195) to personally inspect any items of interest.

Winning Bidders
- Pick-ups MUST be scheduled during hours of operation. Weekdays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, no weekends. Call (216-406-3195). Pickup will start the week of September 14, 2026.
- The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
- If someone other than the bidder is picking up the items, please fax or email a letter of authorization with third party’s name and auction number.

PayMac, Inc. handles all payments for City of Mentor.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

City of Mentor may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.0% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
