Harbor Lien Sale Information:
The City of Monterey has obtained this vessel through the harbor lien process. A lien packet will be made available to the buyer for California DMV registration purposes.
Important Notes:
This vessel is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
The sale of this vessel does not include permanent moorage at Monterey Harbor or Marina.
To assist with the sale, Monterey Harbor will provide up to 14 days of temporary berthing at $23.50 per day to allow the new owner time to prepare the vessel for relocation.
After the 14-day period, the buyer must remove the vessel from Monterey Harbor by motor, sail, or tow, or arrange to haul out the vessel at Monterey Boat Haven within Monterey Harbor.
The buyer is responsible for all removal arrangements and associated costs.

This is a harbor lien sale.
The vessel is sold AS-IS / WHERE-IS, with no warranties expressed or implied.
The buyer is responsible for:
Any outstanding taxes, fees, or registration requirements.
Obtaining title, registration, or documentation as required.
Removal and transportation of the vessel within the allowed timeframe.
Payment and removal deadlines will be enforced in accordance with Public Surplus auction rules.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
