[ View/Ask ]1935E $1 Silver Certificate – U.S. Currency Collectible
Item Description:
Up for public auction is one authentic Series 1935E $1 Silver Certificate, featuring the distinctive blue Treasury seal and serial numbers. Silver Certificates are a popular piece of American numismatic history and were once redeemable for silver on demand. Today, they are sought after by collectors for their historical significance and collectible appeal.
The Series 1935E note was issued during the 1950s and remains legal tender, although its collector value may exceed its $1 face value depending on condition, rarity, serial number, star designation, and any printing errors. Typical circulated examples often sell for several dollars above face value, while exceptional examples with unique characteristics may command substantially higher prices.
