Winning bidders are paying all taxes, penalties, and interest through 2025, plus fees.
All properties are offered for sale on a “buyer beware”, "where-is", and "as is" basis without any representation or warranty, expressed or implied. The purchaser must research whether the property may be subject to liens, encumbrances, or restrictions and whether the property is suitable for its intended use. If the property is occupied, it is the responsibility of the winning bidder to handle the removal of occupants.

Determination of condition, function, and perceived or assumed value is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
All parcels for sale are subject to any and all special easements and the assessment liens of other taxing districts. This means that any buyer is purchasing the property subject to easements of record, including public utility easements and public right-of-way easements; and subject to any other interests preserved as a matter of law.
5% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price.
Payment must be made within 2 business days of the close of auction per deadlines in terms of sale.
Acceptable form of payment is wire transfer. Payment will be made to the Public Surplus. NO ACH payments allowed.
The Grant County Treasurer's office will prepare a Treasurer's Deed and other documents needed to change ownership of the property based upon the bidder registration information, within thirty (30) days of sale. If the winning bidder wishes the Deed property ownership to be in a different name said bidder must contact the Treasurer's office by email by noon Friday, February 21st.
If no one bids the minimum amount for of a particular parcel, the parcel may be rebid the following week
