Item Details: Beacon Athletics and Pioneer Athletics) is a commercial-grade, 72-inch wide field maintenance drag designed specifically to level, smooth, and condition baseball and softball dirt/skin infields. Key Features & Capabilities Leveling & Smoothing: Unlike basic mat drags that only smooth the top layer, the PR72 cuts off high spots, fills low areas, and breaks up hard, compacted soil. Weed & Moisture Control: Effective at uprooting weeds without bringing up sub-base material and helps reduce water puddling by restoring proper surface slope. No Hydraulics Required: Utilizes manual crank handles, 12V electric actuators, or quick-attach mounts rather than complex external hydraulic hookup

KNOWN ISSUES: None noted.

  • Seller will not provide mechanical help or loading assistance. Come fully prepared to load your items and be prepared any possible situation. This includes bringing your own tools, flatbed trailers, dollies, forklifts etc.

Santa Maria Joint Union High School District may require a bid deposit.

Pay Mac, Inc. handles all payments for Santa Maria Joint Union High School District.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.


Santa Maria Joint Union High School District may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
