2000 Vermeer BC1230A commercial tow-behind wood/brush chipper. This unit was previously utilized by the Copper Canyon Fire service and was later owned by the Town of Jerome, where it accumulated approximately 10 operating hours during Town ownership. The remaining hours were accrued under prior agency ownership.
The unit has been maintained during service life, including clutch replacement completed prior to being removed from active use.
This chipper has been stored and not actively operated for approximately three (3) years; however:
- Unit starts and runs
- Unit will chip material
- Trailer rolls freely
- Tires are inflated and not flat
- Unit will require battery replacement

This auction is not applicable for prepaid shipping. The Agency reserves the right to retain any and all payments and re-list the auction item if abandoned.
**Abandonment of Item** Auction items paid for but not picked up within the specified time, ten (10) business days, from the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award will be considered abandoned. Be advised that The Agency will have the ability to re-list any and all items designated as abandoned with no refund being provided to the user/auction winner.

Town of Jerome may require a bid deposit.
PayMac, Inc. handles all payments for Town of Jerome.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Town of Jerome may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
