***Hualapai Nation Police Department anticipates holding the next Public Surplus Auction consisting of miscellaneous items, starting July 15, 2014.
Hualapai Nation Police Department reserves the right to withdraw any item(s) from the auction up until the time the auction of the item(s) is awarded.
AUCTION PAYMENT METHODS:
The payment terms and conditions on Hualapai Nation Police Department's surplus auctions have changed effective July 2014, to reflect revised payment procedures.
As of July 2014, Public Surplus will be collecting all payments for the Hualapai Nation Police Department on all successful surplus auctions.

Successful Bidders will need to make payment to Public Surplus prior to picking up their items. Public Surplus offers multiple payment methods including: Paypal®, debit card, credit card, and wire transfer.
Effective July 2014 NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

As of July 21, 2009, all potential bidders will be required to post a bid deposit. The amount of the deposit will be one dollar ($1.00) for small items and one hundred dollars ($100.00) for larger items, for each auction of interest. This is in order to curtail a recent increase of non-serious and default bidders. Vehicles, vehicle parts, and large equipment: Pick-up Hours: By APPOINTMENT ONLY!
1). You must first pay for the item through Public Surplus. Payment must be received within 5 days after the close of the auction.
2). In order to pick up the Bill of Sale and the Vehicle Title, you must present a copy of your payment receipt and a valid picture ID at the time of scheduled appointment for pickup. If someone else will be picking up the vehicle on your behalf, a Notarized and signed Authorization Letter from you is required. The Authorization Letter must specifically state how you want the title transferred. Be sure to include, at minimum, the name and address of purchaser. The person picking up the vehicle must also have the receipt of payment and valid picture ID. The person picking up the item must also have a colored copy of the buyers picture identification.

******WE DO NOT SHIP OR CRATE ANY ITEMS. WE CAN NOT HELP LOAD OR MOVE ITEMS. YOU MUST PROVIDE ALL LABOR AND TOOLS NEEDED TO LOAD THE ITEMS. THE WINNING BIDDER MUST PICK UP ALL ITEMS IN PERSON OR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS FOR PICK UP. YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE VIEWING AND PICK UP OF ITEMS.*****
PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION.
PICK UP TIME IS WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION
All property is offered for sale "as-is, where-is." Hualapai Nation Police Department makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The Buyer is not entitled to any payment for loss of profit or any other money damages - special, direct, indirect, or consequential.
Hualapai Nation Police Department warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Hualapai Nation Police Department confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Hualapai Nation Police Department will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of Hualapai Nation Police Department shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Bidders must adhere to the inspection dates and times indicated in the item description or contact the person listed to schedule an inspection.

Default shall include (1) failure to observe these terms and conditions; (2) failure to make good and timely payment; or (3) failure to remove all items within the specified time. Default may result in termination of the contract and suspension from participation in all future auctions. If the Buyer fails in the performance of their obligations, Hualapai Nation Police Department may exercise such rights and may pursue such remedies as are provided by law.
7% shall be added to all auctions.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:
By submitting a bid, the bidder agrees that they have read, fully understand and accept these Terms and Conditions of Online Sales, and agree to pay for and remove the property, if the bid is accepted, by the dates and times specified.
